Sometimes it’s the cop who needs to hit the floor…
As a homicide cop, every blood-soaked crime scene settled in my bones and snaked around my spine. There was only one way to exorcise the images from my soul …
Inside the club, I stopped to scan the room. He was here, Camden Snow. A Norse sex god in the guise of unpretentious youth. Only his ice-blue eyes gave evidence of the Dom who took whomever he wished, whatever way he wanted, with a look and a nod. Merciless.
Cam found me watching him and fixed me with his arctic gaze. This time, I didn’t walk away. He cocked an eyebrow. Well?
The last thing I needed was mercy.
I dropped to my knees.
M/M BDSM 13k words. A frank exploration of the D/s dynamic between two powerful men. Consensual. Adult. Intense. Book1/4 in the Hunt&Cam4Ever series.
OMG. This was stunning
Wow. Just, wow. 73 pages and I’m utterly speechless.
… the writing was just exceptional. … kinky? Sure. … erotic? Hell yeah. But that’s not all it was. Adira August pushed these characters past their comfort zones and made this book about more than just the domination and submission.

I loved it!
Adira August’s ‘On His Knee’s tempted me with the cover, enticed me at the title, captured me with the synopsis, and sucker punched me with its content. Wow, oh wow!
Olympian Camden “Cam” Caulfield Snow knows Hunter, has been waiting for him: “Hunter hid himself inside himself and used a Dom far more thoroughly than any Dom used him.” Even at the tender age of 23 Cam has “experience to break the powerful Dane without crushing him.”
Holy F does he ever!
From the moment they interact Cam is a commanding force taking Hunter and the reader on a fantastic physical and mental journey.
August does a fantastic job in ‘On His Knees’ showing that Cam holds the key to Hunter’s true submissive side.
5 stars – Kimmers’ Erotic Book Banter
Let’s get a few things out of the way first.
This isn’t a romance. There’s desire aplenty between the protagonists, but no romantic love. … It’s not stroke fiction, designed to get the average reader off as quickly and dramatically as possible while they hold the book with one hand.
It is erotica. But not in the sense of the (bad) American Heritage Dictionary definition of “literature or art intended to arouse sexual desire” or the (worse) Webster’s New World Dictionary definition of “pornographic books.” No.
On His Knees is erotica in the most basic sense: “stories written about the sexual journey of the characters and how this impacts them as individuals.” (Thanks for that definition, Sylvia Day!)
And this particular journey is gritty and gut-wrenching.
