Writing Habits and the Arctic

via Writing Habits and the Arctic

I stole the pic from author Trey Stone’s blog post. Trey—if you don’t know him you should as he is “a fucking delight” as he assures us on his Twitter page  —is spending a year above (inside?) the Arctic Circle. I assume this is an attempt to cure procrastination, as there doesn’t seem to be fuck-all to do there outside of polar bear practice. But I’ll let him explain that.

  1. I lived in MacKenzie which is in what used to be called the Northwest Territory, in Canada for many years, and it is close to the arctic circle. I loved it there. Life is simpler and a great place to write 🙂

  2. He seems to think it’s a great place to write, too! I hope you clicked over and read the whole blog entry. I already told him I was jealous. Reminds me of being above timberline in the Colorado Rockies – my fave place!
